On July 23, 2009 Ismobel joined the Global Compact, initiative that the UN has launched to the world companies, by which we acquire the compromise to respect the 10 principles of the Global compact trying to progress and to improve year after year. On July 20th, 2010 Ismobel sent its Communication on Progress and renewed its support to the Global Compact.

UNESCO needed more than one month to study the entire Bidders' proposals and after an exhaustive analysis Ismobel was selected and entered the short list.

After expressing the interest of participating in the UNESCO Bid, the UN Head quarters (closed at the moment du to the refurbishing of the building) sent to Ismobel the documents to Express the Interest for participating in the Bid to furnish the whole UNO building place in the 1st Avenue in NYC.

Once Ismobel being recognised as a UN supplier, UNESCO sends an email with documents for expressing the interest of participating in a Bid that the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris hold to sign a one year agreement. Ismobel is selected to participate in that Bid and sends to Paris all the necessary documents.

After participating in New York City in the EU UN Procurement Seminar and following all the necessary requirements, Ismobel has been recognised as official supplier for the UN and most of its agencies, such us UNICEF, UNESCO, UNOPS, UNAMI, etc
